The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Corvette Restorer’s Society gathered at Zip Corvette on Friday and Saturday, April 11-12, 2025 for their annual judging session. Approximately 30 enthusiasts converged onto Zip’s corporate campus in Mechanicsville, VA for the private event, which draws beautiful Corvettes from all over the Mid-Atlantic.

This year’s event spanned two days, giving more time for technical sessions and judging. Two of the Corvettes on the judging block arrived on Friday night; a classic black 1957 with red interior and a blue 1970 LT1. The third car being judged, a 2004 Commemorative edition with racing stripes, arrived early Saturday morning.

Lunch was provided by Zip on Saturday. Flight judging awards were announced and the event adjourned by early afternoon.

Here at Zip, Corvettes are all we do. But we are always impressed with the level of detail with which the NCRS judges Corvettes. The NCRS dedication to the Corvette’s standard of excellence is vital to the preservation of the Corvette lifestyle so it can be handed over to the generations to come.

That’s one reason why Zip created our Restoration Details brand. It’s where you’ll find high quality, uncompromisingly authentic correct parts for your classic Corvette. You can count on Restoration Details for the most accurate and authentic reproduction parts, fasteners, hardware and decals for your classic Corvette. Whether your goal is to accumulate judging points or restore your Corvette to its most original, pristine condition, you can count on Restoration Details for the most accurate and authentic reproduction parts, fasteners, hardware and decals for your 1953-1982 Corvette.

Founded in 1982, the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the NCRS is dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and enjoyment of Corvettes. With over 170 members and over 285 Corvettes in their membership, MAC is a valuable resource to the Corvette enthusiast and an excellent way to meet people who share your interest in Corvettes.
