On Saturday, June 4, 2022, Zip Corvette welcomed 195 Corvettes for our 10th annual Cruisin’ in the Fast Lane Customer Appreciation Day! Enthusiasts from all over the Mid-Atlantic converged on our corporate campus in Mechanicsville, VA for a day of celebrating all things Corvette!
The first Corvettes rolled in before 8am and they kept coming throughout the morning! It was a picture-perfect June day with full sunshine glistening off the rows of beautiful Corvettes representing every generation.

Customers were treated to free concessions and a showroom discount on all purchases. A local DJ provided the perfect mix of cruisin’ music and Zip’s President, David Walker, fired up his famous blue grill to provide a BBQ and Bratwurst lunch for everyone, serving well over 400 complimentary lunches.
Zip also offered a Commemorative Cruise-In T-Shirt with all proceeds benefiting Richmond Fisher House, which provides cost-free living quarters for military families while their loved one is receiving treatment at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, VA.
Several local Corvette Clubs caravanned to Zip’s customer appreciation day, including the Corvette Club of Richmond, Custom Classic Corvettes from Chesapeake, Battlefield Corvette Club from Fredericksburg and the Southern Knights Cruisers from Colonial Heights….just to name a few!

This year’s event also marks Zip’s 45th anniversary.
