NCRS National Road Tour

On Saturday, August 3, Zip Corvette served as a lunch host for three NCRS National Road Tour caravans on their way to the NCRS National Convention in Hampton, Virginia.

Located just a few hours from Hampton, Zip was the ideal location for caravan participants to stretch their legs and grab a bite to eat! Zip hosted more than 80 people, some from as far away as California and Canada!

Established in 1974, the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) is a community of dedicated Corvette enthusiasts committed to the restoration, preservation, history and enjoyment of all Corvette models.  Each year, the NCRS sponsors one National Convention that rotates among geographic regions. This year was Virginia’s turn!

NCRS celebrated its 50th anniversary at the convention, held August 4-8.  There was a tremendous display of NCRS American Heritage Award Corvettes, along with many Special Interest and Year of 1974 Corvettes. Convention attendees also had the option of exploring the region, including excursions to the Virginia Air and Space Museum, Colonial Williamsburg, and the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach, just to name a few!

The new 2025 Corvette ZR1 also made an appearance at the National Convention, courtesy of  Corvette Chief Engineer Josh Holder.

The 2025 NCRS National Convention will be held in Las Vegas, NV.
