Send us a picture of your Vette, along with any important specs and we just might feature your prized possession on this page for all to see. I bought this car in 1964 from the original owner (11,000 miles), whose wife was expecting and he had decided that it wasn’t a “family car.” It is a California car, that has lived its life in the SF Bay Area. Years ago, I repainted it (with factory lacquer from DuPont), and has an Al Knox interior. All that work was done when it was about 10 years old. Apart from occasional car shows, it’s been garaged for the rest of its life. About 77,000 original miles. (It is a 340, w/ a Muncie, a 3.70 posi, and metallic brakes) Recently, I have (with Zip parts), replaced the fuel tank, exhaust system and all new brake hydraulics, so now it’s drivable once again.
