Description

I have owned this C4 for about 3 1/2 years. I bought it from a female physician in a rural part of Alabama, who nearly cried when I drove it away. The first owner was truly a "Corvette Person" and this Torch Red Coupe was pampered, garage kept & covered with a car cover. This example set the standard for it's new owner, me. Shortly after acquiring my vette, I joined a local Corvette Club. The club invited me to enter a local car show, so I went. At the show, I really enjoyed seeing the enthusiasm in the car owner eyes and talking with them about their individual "Babies". At the awards presentation I won a third place trophy, and the hook was set! Since that event, I have had a "mission" to get my C4 looking as good as some of those cars I saw at that show. I began by detailing, detailing, detailing! You have to start with a clean car and then worry about progressing into the restoration and "tweaks". I soon saw the need for a paint job to fix some little imperfections, and as my new best friend who own the local Corvette Shop said, the snowball started rolling down the hill! Roger L. Grubb LA (Lower Alabama)
