Freeman Hollomon’s 1962 Corvette convertible came off the St. Louis assembly line in february or march of 1962 with white paint, a 327 V8, and a four-speed transmission. Obviously, the car has gone through a transformation since then. Freeman, who purchased the car right off the drag strip in july 1999 as a 36th birthday present to himself, has gone the customized route with Smoke Grey and Pewter paint, a grey canvas top, hood scoop, slotted mags, and built-up 383 stroker that produces 430 horsepower.
