Martin Reich from Hasbergen, Germany, purchased his ’57 Corvette in april 1995 from the car’s third owner, Gary Kenneth, in Florida. According to Martin, “A 57`Corvette is very rare in Germany. The only Corvette club interested in older Corvettes is the Corvette Club Bayern (www.corvette-club-bayern.de). At the summer meet, they judge the old cars for originality and condition. I’m very proud of my Bavarian Corvette Award. I’m a firm believer in enjoying my Corvette, as proven by the photo of the car at the historic race called "Eifel Klassik" on the famous Nürburgring. It was the first time that an American car took part in this race. I got a lot of thumbs up from the European sportscar drivers.
