Description

I have owned my 1980 Corvette since 1994. It was stock when purchased with a L-48, 4 speed and a 411 rear. It now sports a 383 with Dart Heads, Comp Cam, Hooker Headers with STS Baffles, Tremec TKO 600 five speed overdrive tranny, an early model ( 63-79 ) 4.11 rear from Duntov Motorsports, a full Vette Brakes and Products Suspension with Transverse Fiberglass Mono leafs front and rear and Bilstein Shocks. I recently swapped from carb to fuel injection. It is a speed density set up based on the 1991 Corvette ECM with enhancements. I used a TPIS Bigmouth Intake, SLP Siamese Runners, a Ported Plenum from Corvette Plenum and a 52MM Throttle Body. It was dyno tuned by Virginia Speed in Virgina Beach. The car has tremendous torque and handles great. It has surprised many a Mustang who was thinking they were racing a stock 185HP 1980. We recently bought the 2000 convertible for my girl friend. She loves it but I prefer driving my C3.
