Box 152 Sioux City IA 51102 Founded in late 1986, the Midwestern Corvette Society, effectively combines the interests of those Corvette owners who enjoy a wide variety of activities ranging from regularly scheduled local and regional road trips, casual meals, evenings out on the town, poker runs, cruises, picnics, autocrosses, drag racing, people’s choice and concours shows plus participation in the annual Rivercade celebration in Sioux City, Iowa where the club transports the queen candidates during the opening parade festivities. Club participation embraces a wide range of events, including NCCC (National Council of Corvette Clubs) West Region point events throughout the divisional area. Our diverse cross-section of members did well in concours, autocross and drag-race competition during the 2002 season. The club typically attends at least four major NCCC programs during the year, and numerous regional and local shows or events. MWCS strives to promote inter-club activities by welcoming and issuing invitations to a host of other Corvette Clubs within a 350 mile radius of the Sioux City area. |
