Website 164-15 99th street Howard Beach NY 11414 Contact Person: Joe Fabio (events Director) Phone: 718-845-6043 Our club was founded in January 2002 by 12 Corvette owners who were tired of the politics in other clubs and just wanted to share their enjoyment of the classic American Sports Car. In just 9 short months, the club has grown to 94 fun loving Corvette owners. I guess we must be doing something right! Our foundation is friendship; which is probably why the club has expanded so quickly. Our club is made up of men & women from all walks of life and social backgrounds. There are only two requirements for membership: 1 - own a Corvette (any year) and 2 - a willingness to enjoy yourself in the company of your fellow members. Long Island Vettes is a completely independent association and is not affiliated with any national or state organization. While we are an independent association, many of our members are individual members of national Corvette associations such as the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) (Metro Long Island Chapter), the National Corvette Owners Association (NCOA), and other local clubs such as the Corvette Society. We are proud of our dedicated membership. New members (I guess at this point we're all "new members") will find Long Island Vettes easy to "fit" into. We enjoy a large range of Corvettes from all generations. If you are a current Corvette owner, I would like to invite you to join our club and participate in our many events throughout the year. |
