I just got this Corvette about a month ago and I got the dimmer to go from low beam to high beam but it will not go back to low beam.How can I fix or replace the dimmer switch in a 1978 L82?As far as I can tell this car has the cruise control module under the hood but it does not have the cruise control dimmer/turn signal handle.It may have been changed as the horn button has been taken off and seperated and botched back together and I am changing the interior color from a white color to black.The entire car has not been taken care of properly so I am replacing all the interior including the streering wheel and weatherstripping.Any one know much about these?Thanks for any advice you can give

I would think it is the switch assembly itself. There is also a clevis type mechanism in there and it could be that. Nobody will be able to tell you what is wrong with though without going into it.
