Which air damm do I need 6 Months, 1 Week ago  
How do I determine if I need 1st design or 2nd design air dam for my 85? Another words do I have an 85E or 85L. The air dam was missing when I purchases the car. The paragraph below is from the ZIP site order page:

84-90 1ST DESIGN LOWER AIR DAM (SPOILER)
1st design air dams (without stiffening ribs) were used on 1984-85E and 1987-90 w/o Z51 Corvettes. 2nd design air dams (with stiffening ribs) were used on 1985L-86 and 1987-90 w/Z51 Corvettes.

Buy the second design, it was an improvement over the first.
