C6 Roof Panel Replacement 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago  
The solid roof panel on my 2007 corvette was damaged so I bought a solid removable roof panel to replace it. GM sells the panel and the latches and headliner separately. I am trying to take the latches, headliner, and seals from the damaged panel and install them on the panel. I am having difficulty removing the bolts attaching the latches. I believe there is a lock washer or something that is preventing me being able loosen the bolts. Any suggestions about how to get the bolts out of the latch?

A lock washer should not keep you from getting a bolt loose. GM uses a locking compound on about everything now. Just turn it slow and make sure you are using the correct tools and it will come out. I did not have any problems removing mine from a race car.
