To Jack or not to Jack 10 Months ago  
I know about locating the lifting points on the 2008 Corvette for jacking purposes. While using the GM recommended lifting points for the jack, where can I place a jack stand for backup? Where else besides the identified lifting points can I jack up the car or place a jack stand?

You can place your jack stand under the main cradles in the fron and rear close to the lower control arm mounting point. Make sure that you are using the jacking pucks to raise the car with or you will crack the lower rocker molding.
