I have the standard stereo (not the Bose) in my 2006 C6 coupe and the sound quality is dreadful. I talked to a friend who has a 2007 and he said he has the same problem. Is there a reasonable solution? Does the wiring harness have connections to easily hook up either a Bose or a replacement system without modification to the wiring?

There is not an easy solution. I believe the harness's are in the car, but the component for the Bose system would be in the thousands. Even an aftermarket would be, but you would get more for the money. The DVD/NAV unit from Pioneer is much nicer then the factory unit. I believe you are going to have to go aftermarket to make it sound really good.
