SEAT BELT BUZZER/LIGHT GREMLIN 7 Months, 3 Weeks ago  
I AM A NEW CORVETTE OWNER (1975 ROADSTER) WITH A PROBLEM WITH THE SEAT BELT BUZZER STAYING ON AS WELL AS THE DASH LIGHT. IF I CONNECT THE PASSENGER SIDE SEAT BELT THE BUZZER GOES OFF BUT THE LIGHT REMAINS ON. I HAVE HAD THE CORVETTE FOR A YEAR AND PUT 2000 MILES ON IT LAST YEAR WITH NO PROBLEMS. I GOT IT OUT THIS WEEK FOR THE FIRST TIME AND THE PROBLEM WITH THE SEAT BELT STARTED. ANY HELP IN SOLVING THIS PROBLEM WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS

It could be the switch in your seat. There is a switch in the seat and is pressure sensitive, lots of them are bad and you should just be able to unplug it. You also have a plug in the seat belt receiver in the center, just unplug them.

I UNPLUGED THE THE SEAT BELTS AND THE BUZZER QUIT. HOWEVER THE SEAT BELT LIGHT ON THE DASH STAYS ON, ANY OTHER IDEAS. THANKS

Check and make sure the wires in the reciever are not damaged where they plug into the harness on the floor. You should have lost the light also.
