Everything is stock on the car, with the original tires. We live in Western New York and only get to drive the car 6 months out of the year with all the snow and salt. This is our 5th corvette with 3 being Yellow in color. Your website is excellent !!!!

C4 Corvette
The bloody red Corvette was born in 1987 and had 120G miles on it when its rookie owner traded a Harley to enjoy a true American sports car for the first time. My Sportster gave it's place for the veteran Vette and the V-Rod to buy gas. I gave up my Harleys to ride the Corvette to work every day, and every mile is a privilege. Sorta like its owner, a bit older, but not in bad shape for an old race horse. It's its own reward. Now, like the rest of us, if we can keep it running....

1987 Corvette
My Corvette is a 1987 model Coupe. Currently it is in the body shop having some more paint work done and a few replacement parts to upgrade what I currently have. Many aftermarket parts and along the way much restoration work is being done. From all aspects of the body, engine, transmission, interior, suspension and braking along with the exhaust system being converted for more performance. Currently I am running approximately 325 hp and plans are to have the car at least in the 450 hp range with comparable torque.

Bought my first Corvette last night, a 1991 Convertible. It's great! I cannot get up the courage to take it out on the road yet. I just sit in it and play the radio. I will probably drive it home tomorrow. The dealer is letting me keep it there for now. It had two owners, spent its life in garages and only has 15,000 miles. Here is a display shot of it.

Thanks ZIP for your committment to Corverttes. I'll continue to be a customer because I plan to keep my corvette forever. Here's a picture of my 1987 convertible; restored in 2007-2008 with custom paint including GS stripes, ZR-1 wheels, new leather interior, new Hartz top, 2.5" true duals Magnaflow exhaust, engine updates and most new running gear. I love the top-down ride.

The motor has been modified with an open air cleaner lid, K&N Filter, Marc Haibeck chip, Flowmaster Cat-Back exhaust system, Fidanza Aluminum flywheel and Hurst Short Shifter. I have also added one of a kind Dark Gray powder-coated A-Mold wheels. It is a beauty and I am the second owner since May of 2006.

1985 Corvette
My 1985 Corvette has 132000 miles on it. I am the second owner and have put about $8000 into it. New upholistry, new paint, blackoutside. Torch Red on the inside, all new poly bushings underneath, everything works.

My C4 1990 Corvette
I have owned this car since 1995. Only drive her occasionally, and never in the rain. The license plates are fitting being a Canadian car, and read AWSUM A. I get a lot of great comments on them. Everything in it is original, with the exception of the fuel injectors, which I replaced in 2000 due to improper storage on my part of not using fuel stabilizer when it was stored during the winter months. I replaced the tires with Michelin Pilots, and have replaced the orignal battery with another Delco unit. She has 52,000 orginal Kilometres, and will probably never see 60.

My First One
85 Vett is my license plates and I just keep working on it. Consider selling but can't make the move.

Finally Got Me A Toy!
After many years of owning an antique Oldsmobile which for numerous reasons I was somewhat afraid to drive much and really enjoy, I've now got a C4 that I truly enjoy tinkering on, driving and showing. In 2006 when I was 57 years old I picked up my first Corvette, a 1985 C4, on eBay at no reserve! Driving it home, around 300 miles in 95 degree weather was fun and virtually uneventful! That was only the beginning and it's been a pleasure to own and drive ever since!

There are just about too many things "modified" on this Vette. As soon as I think I'm finished, I find something else to do! Web Page with photos of every angle.

C4 Corvette
I have owned this C4 for about 3 1/2 years. I bought it from a female physician in a rural part of Alabama, who nearly cried when I drove it away. The first owner was truly a "Corvette Person" and this Torch Red Coupe was pampered, garage kept & covered with a car cover. This example set the standard for it's new owner, me. Shortly after acquiring my vette, I joined a local Corvette Club. The club invited me to enter a local car show, so I went. At the show, I really enjoyed seeing the enthusiasm in the car owner eyes and talking with them about their individual "Babies". At the awards presentation I won a third place trophy, and the hook was set! Since that event, I have had a "mission" to get my C4 looking as good as some of those cars I saw at that show. I began by detailing, detailing, detailing! You have to start with a clean car and then worry about progressing into the restoration and "tweaks". I soon saw the need for a paint job to fix some little imperfections, and as my new best friend who own the local Corvette Shop said, the snowball started rolling down the hill! Roger L. Windsor, Ontario’s Joe Maksoud has owned his “totally non-stock” 1984 Corvette coupe for a little over year. “I’ve dreamed of owning a Corvette since I was a little squirt,” he says, “which wasn’t all that long ago since I’m only 20 now.” Joe has added a ground effects package and rear spoiler, woodgrain dash, chrome door sill plates, and a stereo system with 12-disc CD changer and a pair of 10-inch JL Audio subwoofers. Under the hood sits a swapped-in 327 with an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold and a 750 Holley carb. “Hopefully, I’ll soon be able to add some nice rims to complete the exterior look,” Joe says. “I couldn’t ask for any better, not even in my dreams.”

When Mark McGrade purchased his 1986 L98 Corvette five years ago, it was in need of a lot of work. According to Mark, “The original light gray metallic paint was faded and cracking off and the interior was totally shot.” So soon Mark was making the change to Bright Aqua Metallic, and discovering that “changing the color on a Corvette can get quite costly!” From there, Mark restored the interior, swapped the original 2.59:1 rear gears with a set of 3.73s, and upgraded the old exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, Walker Y-pipe, and catalytic converter from Random Technologies. The biggest change, Mark feels, was the addition of ZR-1 wheels with huge 315/35/17 tires out back. “Owning a Corvette has been a dream of mine since I was a child,” Mark says, “and driving it now makes me feel like one too!”

1988 Corvette
I'm Corvette enthusiast from my childhood for about 20 years all the same there is not any Chevrolet or Corvette dealer in Hungary. When I was 10 years old I decided I will own a Corvette at one time. Finally, at august of 2003 I could buy one, a wonderful middle-blue convertible. Now I am the happiest man all over the world and I would like to do my best to use my Corvette forever... Description of my 'Vette: She is a middle-blue 1988 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible with blue leather and drape, she is the only one 88's Convertible in my country and one of 7407 1988 Bowling Green's roadsters. I modified the L98 engine a little bit: 355 ci, LT1 controll, longer steel connecting arms (6.0 inch), non-stick flat-top pistons, high pressure oil pump (70 psi), enhanced double timing chain, no frisbie, no front katalysators, and I upgraded the 700R4 transmission also with TCI shift-kit. Norman P. Casey from Fall River, Massachusetts, admits that this 1993 coupe is his first Corvette. Purchased in may 2000, the black beauty is a one-owner car with 32,000 miles. So far, the only change from factory stock is window tinting. “Back surgery has made me put down the Harley,” Norman says, “but the Corvette eases the pain.” The photo was taken in Newport, Rhode Island, at Fort Adams, site of the JVC Jazz Festival. “Mother Nature takes credit for the back-drop; GM gets the credit for the beautiful black object in the center!”

1980 Corvette
California’s Gary Carlson says he made the right decision when up traded his 1980 Corvette for the style and performance of this 1987 model. Equipped with the L-98 engine and the best options, Gary now says he actually drives the car more than he should, having added 8,000 miles to the odometer in the last 10 months. Gary purchased the 84,000-mile C4 from its original owner, who also handed over two files with maintenance records and parts receipts. “That was a big plus in my book,” Gary commented. Regardless of the miles, Gary says he’s going to keep on driving his Corvette, especially on cruises like the Big Bear Bash and the Route 66 Rendezvous in San Bernardino.

1993 Corvette
After purchasing this ’93 Corvette just a few weeks ago, Terry Ellis is already getting worried about his wife. “It’s almost scary how much she talks about it,” he says. “I think it might be a mental illness relating to this vehicle, but who knows?” Of course, Jeanie is only the latest to go crazy about a Corvette, but who could blame her with the ’93? It’s an LT1 with every option, including red/black leather interior. Plus the Ellises purchased it from a Saturn dealership with just 6,400 miles on the odometer. As Terry points out, “It is simply an incredible car. The new car dealer stickers are still in place on the dash! Everything is original. If you are ever in Richmond, Virginia, I am sure you will see this vehicle around - probably at Zip Products buying more accessories!”

1994 Corvette
Dan and Trish Coble From Punta Gorda Florida, submitted their Corvettes to our Readers Rides department because, "We wanted to share our good fortune with other Corvette lovers." Last summer, after winning a 20-year battle with Uncle Sam, Dan and Trish decided to fulfill their life-long dream of buying a nice Corvette to restore and enjoy. Trouble was, Dan liked C3s while Trish preferred C4s. But when they couldn’t find a clean C3, Trish won out when they located a 9,000 black-on-black 1994 LT-4 at Roger’s Corvettes in Orlando. A few days after taking delivery of the C4, the A/C controller malfunctioned, so the Cobles took the car back to Rogers for a repair. There they spotted a new arrival — a black-on-silver-gray 1982 Corvette, a one-owner with under 17,000 miles and fully optioned. "Needless to say, our garage is filled with our dream cars," Trish said. "And the bonus is that we have detailed information about the history of our ’82, all the way down to when the engine block was cast. We consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have stumbled onto two such fine examples of Corvette history."

1990 Corvette
For his first Corvette, Larry Fear ended up with a rather unique factory color. The original paint on Larry’s 1990 coupe is Dark Smoke Charcoal Metallic, which was applied to only 878 Corvettes in 1990. According to Larry’s research, the car is one of 110 with the Dark Smoke Charcoal Metallic paint and 6-speed transmission. Otherwise, the Corvette is equipped with the L-98 engine, ADS Superchip, throttle-body air foil, and a cat-back exhaust system. Larry, from Homestead, Florida, says the color is “a real attention-getter.”

1986 Corvette
Steve Erickson from Austin, Texas, has owned this white 1986 Corvette coupe since january 1987. Since then, the car has moved with Steve and his wife from Texas, to Ohio, to Illinois, and finally back to Texas. Now with 66,000 miles, Steve’s former daily driver is now driven only on nice days. From the factory, the ’86 came with blue leather sport seat interior, blue panel roof, and Z51 handling package. Steve has added 17 x 9.5-inch ROH wheels, muffler eliminators, K&N filter with air foil, and “all the chrome hardware that’s available from the aftermarket.” Steve also polished the upper and lower A-frames, half-shafts, trailing arms, and A/C tubing and fittings. “ I continue to look for other modifications that I can add,” Steve says. “This is a great car and I get a lot of compliments.”

1988 Corvette
Purchased in april, 2001, Dennis Fixsen from Poway, California, is the third owner of this "very-cherry" 1988 coupe. The L98 engine remains all stock internally, as does the 700R4 overdrive transmission and 2.59 rearend. The only modifications are a Flowmaster cat-back exhaust system, K&N air filter with an open air filter lid, and a throttle body air foil. Equipped with saddle leather bucket seats and tinted windows, Fixsen’s C4 cruises on Yokohama tires with the rare 1988 standard six-slot 16-inch aluminum wheels. Even with 156,000 "well-babied" miles, Dennis says his ’88 Corvette maintains 26 miles-per-gallon on the open road and 18 mpg in city traffic. "I'm blessed to be living in Southern California with great year-round driving weather," Dennis says. "L98 C4s are the best!"

1989 Corvette
Sanford B. Lubell from Plantation, Florida, is the owner of this red-on-red 1989 roadster. Modified and detailed for shows, Sanford has chromed the engine compartment, added braided hoses, and polished the Borla exhaust system to a chrome-like shine. The undercarriage is painted to match the exterior and also features chrome components, which is why Sanford displays the car with mirrors underneath. "The car is a winner where ever we go to display," Sanford says.

1992 Corvette
Al Joines has owned his 1992 LT1 Corvette for just over three years. During that time, he has modified the C4 by installing a Hypertech computer chip, K&N air filter, Flowmaster mufflers, and ZR1 wheels. For the underhood appearance, Al polished the air conditioning components and added numerous stainless steel covers. "I am retired from the Air Force and at the present time serving as vice-president for Westside Classic Cruisers," Al says. "My car is a weekly award winner at the local cruises in and around the Fort Worth - Dallas area."

“If you’re an NCRS member, turn your head now! said Lance Humphreys in his short e-mail about his modified C4 Corvette. Lance, from Anza, California, didn’t provide a lot of details about his Corvette, except “You’ll note a few modifications,” which obviously include a hood scoop and large rear wing.

Mark Hodson, from the eastern Canadian Province of Prince Edward Island, just north of Nova Scotia, is just finishing up a "few modifications" on his recently-purchased 1991 C4. So far, he’s added a nitrous kit, a hot cam for the LT4 engine, ported and polished heads, MSD-6 digital ignition, 52mm throttle body with "Big Mouth" intake, 3-inch exhaust with Dynomax mufflers, Centerforce clutch, ’96 wheels, and a pair of Alpine V12 amplifiers with a 12-inch subwoofer. "They should have come from the factory this way," Mark says. "I spent the long, cold winter working on the Corvette. I can’t wait for spring!"

1995 Corvette
Rob Hester says when he bought his '95 Admiral Blue coupe, he knew immediately that he wanted the license plates to read "Not Red." A founding member of the Northeast Arkansas Corvette Club, Rob wants to keep the ’95 closer to stock than his previous Corvette, a white ’89 with a reverse Grand Sport theme. So far, the only mods include lowering and polished 5-spoke wheels. "I have never had so many compliments on a car before," Rob says.

1984 Corvette
Pete from Phoenix is just 17 years-old, but he’s already learning the joys of Corvette ownership with his black ’84 coupe. “I used to own a 1984 Camaro Z-28 5-speed,” Pete explained in his e-mail. “But I like my Corvette much better. It just totally blows the Camaro out of the water.” Pete has performed a “semi-restoration” on the ’84, including a new interior and an upgraded sound system. “All I have to say is that I blow everyone’s doors off at school. Those little Jettas and GTIs can’t hang with the big boys!”

1985 Corvette
Tim Johnson from Modesto, California, tells the story about how he acquired his 1985 coupe: “I was actually set on getting an earlier C3. I almost bought a ‘75, then an ‘82. But while test driving both of those cars, I noticed they didn't have the power and ride that I wanted in a daily driver. Then I found this C4 buried in the local newspaper. All the ad said was ‘85 Corvette, nice condition, $8,000 obo.’ What a find! They were the original owners, and everything was original except for the battery and the missing glass top. I purchased it on may 1, 2000, with 85,000 miles on the odometer, at a ripe old age of 18, for $7,500.” Since purchasing the Light Brown Metallic ‘85, Tim has added a CD player and speakers, custom computer chip, and other minor power modifications.

1985 Corvette
After childhood dreams and a lot of hard work, I finally was able to purchase my 1985 Corvette. Powered by the L98 engine with only 53,500 miles on the odometer, this Corvette was certainly a rare find. I had spent the entire summer searching for a 'Vette and this find was unexpected and last minute! The interior is in great condition and the paintjob continues to get comments from people asking who I recently got to paint my two-tone car... (It hasn't been painted since the factory, 19 years ago) I have replaced valve gaskets, repainted the valve covers, detailed the wheels, replaced fuel/air filter, cleaned the entire engine bay and front suspension, replaced the door sills etc. I even went looking for and found a 1980's car phone to go with my 'Vette for a little added touch as I go back in time with LOADS of torque at the reach of my foot. This is one beauty that has been perfectly maintain it's entire life and I will certainly enjoy keeping it up to and beyond par! Watch out Mustangs for this 19 year old 'Vette with a 19 year old owner... -Daniel Bowler P.S. (Thanks for the opportunity to list my Corvette to the world. CorvetteMagazine is an amazing website that I visit nearly everyday. I wish it the best and hope it can continue to thrive!)

My name is Gert Booyens, I live in South Africa and own a 1994 yellow convertible. My vette gives me plenty happiness and pleasure, I have entered many competitions and achieved two 3rd prizes at the nationals and in 2004 and 2005 this year achieved Ist position. I sent you photos of my vette and will appreciate it if you will publish them, seeing that we live in a country where corvettes are very scarce and special. Regards, Gert

1989 Corvette
Fifty-three year-old George Powell, from Clearwater, Florida, who says he’s dreamed of owning a Corvette since he was 17, finally threw practicality out the window to purchase a Dark Smoke Metallic 1989 Corvette coupe. We’ll let George tell the story: “I had always wanted a Corvette, but the practical side of life always interfered. Then my wonderful wife, Jennifer, told me it was time to act on my dream. After some serious searching, I found the ’89 at The Toy Store in Largo, Florida. It was marvelous, with just 57,000 miles. At this stage of my life, and driving in the great Florida climate, the car and I are pretty much inseparable. I had the chance to take two weeks and drive from Clearwater to Idaho and back. While the infrastructure in America is somewhat in need of attention, it is an experience I’ll always treasure. Jennifer refers to it as my ‘bonding experience!’”

1991 Corvette
Joe Polai has his own version of TLC — "Tender love and cash." That’s what he put into his 1991 Corvette after he purchased it in 2000. "It was in dire need of a paint job — the paint was cracked, chipped, and faded," he explains. "The car was used and abused by the previous owners and need that TLC to bring it back to a nice condition." As you can see, Joe did a great job with the make-over, which also included a number of exterior modifications (like Grand Sport fender hash marks and fender flares, taillight louvers, GS brakes, etc.) and a new Sport Suspension from Eckler’s. From the factory, the C4 came with the L98 engine, 6-speed, FX3 suspension, leather sport seats, glass top, and electronic temperature control. For improved performance, Joe enlisted TPIS in Chaska, Minnesota to add a 3 1/2-inch cat-back exhaust system, 4.09 rear gears, B&M Ripper shifter, TPIS Fast Pack Kit, and ZR1 chrome wheels.

1985 Corvette
I've only had this car for just over a year. I bought it, installed new motor, and then was rear-ended at a stop light between 2 trucks. That happened to be my sons birthday and graduation day. So I spend a year building it as you see here. I modified it so that it could still be hard top, t-top (taneau), or no top. Not to mention, all the other upgrades. 2 months after completion, I am again rear ended at the same stop light. I included a couple of pictures of that, as well. Frames still straight but, I don't know what I'm going to do with it. They (insurance co.) want to total it but I'm going to lose big, as you can imagine what they value a 85 vette for. But I think most of you will agree, you sure don't see any vettes nicer looking than this.

1993 Corvette
Dream since I was nine years old to own a Corvette. My neighbor when I was young bought a brand new yellow 63 stingray with factory side pipes, yellow and was washing it when I walked up to it and I fell in love. The first time I went to Charolette North Carolina Nascar speedway it was still the Charlotte track. I saw the 93 Corvette drive around the track. Then I went to Indy the same year and saw the 93 Vette and knew then that was the year. The C4 is such a clean body shape with no chrome, just nice clean lines. This is a true hot rod for the street and at the prices they are selling for are very reasonable priced hot rod. My car is white, with a white rag top, removeable hard top. What a blast! My name is John Moore and I live in Sydney, Australia. This is my second Corvette and it's an ' 88 convertible and no the photos are not in reverse it is right hand drive. The law in the state that I live in requires left hand drive vehicles under 30 years old to be converted. As you will notice from the photo's it has been "mirrored image" converted and look like and more importantly drives like it was built that way. It has recently had a new black interior, new top, and over the 6 years I have owned it I have put in a hypertech chip, bigger crossed drilled rotors and new calipers, 52mm throttle body, new plugs&wires etc, new stainless exhaust and mufflers, vintage license plates and I have removed the air pump. This car is definately a "keeper" and I now have a ' 73 on it's way to keep it company. As well as being a member of a local Corvette club here in Sydney we are members of the Corvette Club Of Hawaii where my wife and I vacation every year and they are a really great bunch of people. I hope my car is of interest to you and I would like to say that I have had great service from ZIP. You guys go the extra mile when needed. John Moore

Here are some pictures of my 1996 Corvette LT1. The special thing about this Vette is my tribute to those that died on September 11, 2001 in the World Trade Center incident. Please, take note of the under hood graphics. Let us NOT FORGET!!! Larry Teague Amarilo, Texas

1984 Corvette
My name is Ed and i turned a 84 C-4 vette to a 04 C-5 vette. I got the car and every part besides the paint and exhaust on ebay. It took me about eight months to build and add custom parts. I just put a personalized lic. plate that says (DRTPOOR) and I get alot of laugh's. I get alot of looks and people think it is a new vette untill i tell them it is a 84 vette and they are amazed in how i did it. The paint is a house of kolor paint that changes from black, rootbeer brown, gold and a green under certain light. Well I would like to know if you are interested in my vette for your magazine. I also attached 3 photo's for you to look at.There's one photo of what it looked like before I started the custom work. Thank you for your time, Ed Cramer

I was interested in muscle cars all my life starting out with a 69 Firebird, then a '71 455 CID GTO. Then came family and compacts, station wagons, and 4X4's. When Jeanette and I became "empty nesters" in 1998, we bought an '88 black vette. I actually suggested that we go to a bankruptcy sale at a department store 70 miles out of town to get her attention. Dirty tricks - ahem! Unbeknownst to her I had set it up with the owner of the '88 vette and his wife to meet us for supper. It was a beautiful sunny day and they arrived at the restaurant with a beautifully detailed car, top down etc...and, of course, Jeanette fell for the car. The rest is history as a deal was struck. We had the vette for 4 years and we then traded up to our present '96 Collector coupe. It is fully optioned and almost perfect. 16,000 miles on the odometer and wins frequently at show and shines. It is the last and best C4 and certainly beats the C5 with its cockpit styling, clamshell hood, and sleek lines. I am the plant chemist at a nuclear power plant. The attached photo shows me and my buddies '92 Jaguar coupe in front of our nuclear plant. The similar lines for these cars are almost striking. Of course there may still be some of the effects of the early Jaguar relationship with Corvette but small. Cyril MacNeil

1984 Corvette
Here's a little beauty I've been working on for 4 years, and finished 3 weeks ago. My name is Mike Pegg, and this is a 1984 model, with only 34 miles on the new motor, Tranny, and rear end. The car has an all diamond plate custom dash, with all new racing gauges, seats, and a 150 HP Nitrous shot. The motor is a fresh 350 CU, with street & Performance pulleys, crane cam, Edelbrock intake, carb, and nitrous kit. I've ported, and polished the heads, and just too much else too list. The body has been smoothed, and the rear wells widened to house the Mickey Thompson street drags underneath, homemade headlight buckets to remove the junk that sometimes popped up. I,ve added a new suspension upgrade to raise the rear end 2 inches. Hope you enjoy, and to all the purists out there....My deepest condolences. Mike Pegg Munford, AL

1986 Indy Pace car, second owner, 29,000 miles, best purchase I've ever made. Made several adjustments and now running close to 400 h.p. and we're not thru yet! Original paint, wheels and interior, makes it look stock! The picture is the first time the car was ever showcased, where I took second place in the Vette's By The Shore in Biloxi, Ms. Great show! Thanks, John Young

C4 Corvette
This is my first Corvette and I couldn't be happier. It's a Silver-Beige Metallic L-98 4+3. I bought it in july and hate the fact that, aside from snowplowing, it's of no use in Maine in the winter! Enjoy Bob Bailey Harrison Maine

This is my 1988 corvette with under 50000 miles. I gave my son a ride in it when he came back from war in iraq. Michael Zucco

1989 Corvette
Well it took me 63 years to get my first Vette and wow was it worth it, I really enjoy driving this 1989 coupe with SunBurst Orange paintjob. I am still in the process of making it better. Bill Dempsey

The picture that you see is me and my boyfriend at prom. His mom's fiance drives a C4 1984 model year Corvette. The great guy that he is let us take it to prom. You know how everybody takes limos to prom well it was nice to see that we were the only couple to pull up in this unique corvette. All eyes were on us. Everybody wanted a ride. But we just thought it would be nice for other people to see that limos are out dated and Corvettes are now the new ride for prom. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. Sincerely, Melissa Davy Baker

1996 Corvette
Here are a couple of pics of our "96" LT1 coupe. Automatic with grey interior. My wife and I bought the car 4 years ago with just under 20,000 miles on it. It needed a lot of mechanical TLC but we finally got everything repaired and in good working condition. The only modifications are an American Thunder chambered exhaust and a K&N air filter with a cut lid. We just hit 30,000 miles at the end of 2005. This is our first Corvette and definitely not our last. The car runs great and is a blast to drive. Thanks Al & Ann Pace Ulster Park, N. Y.

1995 Corvette
While showing his 1995 Torch Red Coupe at a car show, Frank Schear was approached by a lady claiming to be the original owner of the Corvette. When she pointed out nicks and scratches on the car and explained how they got there, Frank realized she was indeed the first owner. Seems she had purchased the Corvette new in San Antonio, moved to New Jersey when she got married, then sold the car in 1998 – and had been trying to relocate the car ever since. Subsequently, Frank received the build sheet, window sticker, service history, and the assurance that the car had not been modified. Frank, from Lakewood, NJ, now races the 77,000-mile C4, nailing a quarter-mile best of 12.99 at 107 mph with only muffler eliminators and open air filter lid. “Very impressive for a completely stock car,” Frank says.

"This is my ‘new’ Vette," says Nat Wagner from Northumberland, Pennsylvania. "I bought it three weeks ago and haven’t been able to sleep ever since!" We can see why. The beautiful 1996 C4 with LT4 power has been equipped with all the Grand Sport options except the original GS blue paint. The red exterior with black GS fender slashes makes Nat’s C4 a real looker.

1987 Corvette
Attached is a picture our 1987 Bright Red Corvette coupe. We've owned it for 3 years and have been having the time of our lives cruising in it. We go to a lot of the local cruises and have made a number of new friends. We live in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. Thanks for considering us! Cathy and Rick Hageman

1994 Corvette
This 1994 Corvette convertible is Keith Yazell’s third red Corvette. "My first was a 1992 coupe loaded to the gill with low tire pressure warning and all the other bells and whistles," Keith says. It was totaled in 1995. It took two years to get back into a Vette again when I found a 1989 coupe with 50,000 miles on it. I held on to that one for about four years when it was sold in hopes of finding a newer one. I found this 1994 convertible locally with only 20,000 miles on the clock." Keith, who hails from Seymour, Indiana, says he plans to keep the car stock. The C4 is equipped with the factory hardtop, sport seats, and auto climate control, plus Keith’s favorite option, the G92 performance rear end. "It makes a noticeable difference in the get up and go department," he says. How does the ’94 stack up against his previous C4s? "It’s by far my favorite one yet!"

1990 Corvette
1990 Coupe, 350-Automatic My earliest recollection of wanting a Corvette was when I was only about 4 years old! My babysitter took me for a walk and we passed a '68 or '69 Stingray parked on the street. She kept on walking but I just stood there and stared. When she came back to get me seconds later I asked her what kind of car it was and she only replied, "Well, it says Stingray on the side." I was hooked and knew someday I'd have one of those. It's not a Stingray but I love her all the same. Phil Newton, Ks

1984 Corvette
This is my first corvette. It is the 1984 cross fire ignition. Yes I know, it is probably the worst corvette they built, but this one seems to be all right. I am getting around 22 to 27 mpg, and getting better every day. I drive it back and forth to work, which is around 50 miles, and the week end I drive it to visit the old people. And that’s another 400 miles. It needed a lot of help when I got it, but it getting shinier and shinier every day.

1984 Corvette
I`m phil from Widnes (near liverpool) in the UK, I`ve had my vette for 7 years (since I was 23) and its something of a rarity in these parts, think there are only 4 C4`s within 50 miles of our house. Its a 1984 Crossfire and has been upgraded over the years I`ve had it, A custom built Stainless steel exhaust, suspension upgrades, new steering rack, performance diff (only after it broke the original mind) 6" TV in the passenger dash 2 6x9`s and a 12" sub in a custom enclosure built over the rear shelf area, PS2 with wire fre controller - a second Deep Cycle battery added in one of the rear storage bins to power the system so its completely stand alone, along with a 5watt solar panel charger to keep the second battery on full power. We used it as our wedding car here in the UK and then delayed our honeymoon by a few months so we could take it in Nashville for the official 50th anniversary celebrations! Which believe it or not was my wife's idea :) Phil
