Using their test mule. Walker developed a lowering kit that is now going into production. Probably no single mod changes the looks of a stock car more than the drop, which with Walker’s kit is about an inch and a half front and just a little more than that in the rear.
“The whole attitude of the car with the wheels and lowering, makes it look exotic,” David Walker explained.
Next, Walker added a couple GM accessories, painted door handles and a painted rear spoiler. Of course, these dress-up parts are available through Zip.
Not available were the side screens in the rear fenders to cool the back rotors. Walker’s team developed their own set and installed them on the car.
Next, they replaced the stock front grille with a stainless steel mesh, a mod made popular on the C5. Walker let us know the C6 will require “a little bit more work” to get the C6 screens in place.
