   Corvette-people can imagine. The day the C6 starting hitting driveways across the United States, companies like Zip Products started getting calls- “Hey, do you have a catalog and do you have parts?”
  
David Walker told us his company didn’t want to answer in the negative. They wanted to say, “Yes, we do.”
  
For this reason, Zip ordered a brand new C6 a year ago, in january of 2005. The Daytona Orange Sport Coupe (with Cashmere interior) was built the Friday of “Corvettes At Carlisle” the Friday before the Labor Day weekend, or the end of august, 2004. Zip had the car mid-september. Immediately, they began a development program with their 2005 Corvette, which became known around the company as “the mule.”
  
Traditionally, Corvette people personalize their cars. They want their own look. The first thing Walker and company did was swap out the stock wheels for a set of CCW forged 19 x 11s, front and rear. The factory uses 18 x 9s up front and 19 x 10s in the rear. The larger, wider rims filled out the wheel houses for a higher performance attitude, especially with the next Zip upgrade, lowering.
