Jeff Lash at Mallett gave us the low down. Calm, cool, and collected, in a textbook tone this mechanic described the new Mallett Hammer as "an entry level car for the Z06 enthusiast."
  We have to admit he is right. There are certainly hotter iterations of the Z06 out there. But when you start with a Z06, you are already in the major leagues of new Corvettes.
  Lash spoke of a "moderate horsepower boost with a little bit more handling. We do add a shock absorber to the set-up."
  We went right for the superficial and asked how much of a horsepower boost. The answer is "about 70."
