Chevrolet’s factory C5-R program finished up its 2002 season on october 12th with a rousing come-from-behind win at Road Atlanta’s Petite Le Mans. It represented the ninth victory in ten American Le Mans Series races this year, and together with the team’s convincing one-two sweep at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, makes 2002 arguably the most successful competition year in Corvette’s 50-year history.
