One
is a 60 model. The owner started on the restoration 15 years ago, taking
the car completely apart and putting the pieces in marked boxes. Another project
in Mikes garage at home is a 62. He re-wired the entire car for
a friend. We didnt get into the details of the third project, a 64,
but we were beginning understand the drill at Wehrmans homestead.
Mike explained, "I do work here and there for other people
and that affords me to buy one for myself."
The 58 here was one that Mike restored for himself. He gives
his wife credit too. "Oh yeah, she helps a lot. When I get down to the
dirty work and we turn the thing upside down to scrape all the dirt and tar
off the bottom, thats what she does. She gets in there with those rubber
gloves on and that nasty old
