With a full head of white hair - all salt and no pepper - Dave McLellan is easy to spot at a Corvette car show. Side by side with Glenda, his wife of 37 years, the former Corvette chief engineer (1975-1992) travels to show after show in his green 1995 ZR-1.
  "I drive it. I don’t show it," Dave told us.
  McLellan is not out to compete. Neither does he restore or collect. "I love cars. I just choose not to collect a whole bunch of them. I like cars from the teens, twenties, thirties, all those eras."
  He might tinker with a collection of cars if he had the time. Instead, Dave McLellan has one Corvette in the four-car garage on his 18-acre estate in Holly, Michigan, where his work and play varies to fit his interests.
