We mostly think of tuners as specialty performance shops, like Lingenfelter and Doug Rippie. They tweak engines. However, Ken King tweaks interiors. You can call him a tuner - a leather tuner.
Gaze on the interiors in the two Corvettes pictured here, the C5 convertible and the 2002 Z06, and you’ll get the idea. When King first displayed the yellow 2000 convertible on the CorvetteForum.com, he says, "The reaction was incredible."
How incredible was it, you ask? "Next thing I knew I was going to GM for licensing. And I got incorporated. Now I’ve retired from the auto industry to devote my time to Vette Essentials."
Like the rest of us, Ken is a hobbyist. He loves his Corvettes. Unlike most of us, King has spent nearly his entire life in product
