Cowboy Edition ‘78
  The owner of this '78 Silver Anniversary purchased the Cowboy's Edition L-82 Corvette from a single lady who sold it to spite her ex-boyfriend. "Our good luck, sorry for him," said the owner, who identified herself only as Pat. "He told her it was something special, but she couldn't figure out what was so special about it." Pat and her husband are currently researching the car’s history as a custom Dallas Cowboy's edition for the 1978 Super Bowl (the Cowboys played Denver Broncos that year). "My husband remembers this car going across the field at half-time," Pat explains, "and one of our friends remembers seeing one at a Chevy dealership in Dallas about that time. It may have been Too Tall Jones' car, or another player. I'd like to know how many were made. I feel there must have been very few, as we haven't seen another like it."
