Supercharged Z06
  Those Texans just gotta have bigger and better. Mike Thomas from Kerrville, Texas, has added twin-intercooled ProCharger supercharger to his already-powerful 2001 Z06, taking power from the factory 405 at the engine to an estimated 515-520-horsepower at the rear wheels. Set at seven pounds of boost, the ProCharger is assisted by 42-pound injectors, 105 gph fuel pump, and SuperChip programming. Since making his first mods, Mike has added TPIS long-tube headers, a 160-degree thermostat, and a Nitrous Express 150-horsepower nitrous system set at 75 horspower. Mike now estimates power at 617 to the rear wheels and more the 700 at the engine. Other modifications to Mike’s Z06 include chrome Z06 wheels, Z06 exhaust plate, "supercharger" decals, and a personalized license plate "ITS QIK."
