Snowman’s 18-inch wheels didn’t quite look right. "We realized when we did the GT-R kit, the rear wheels should be 19-inch. They fill the wheel wells and give the car an additional rake to make the body kit look right." The solution was HRE wheels for a GT-R, 18-inch at the front and 19-inch at the rear.
The aluminum 427 is a 4.080- x 4.080-inch bore and stroke, a square design. Snowman says, "You don’t get quite the peak horsepower some people tune for, but the torque is strong across the whole band. I’m already at 450 horsepower and 465 torque, just on the motor. There are people doing 480 and 490 horsepower engines, but this car is meant to be used with nitrous because I built it for drag racing."
The 427 is topped by LS6 heads and intake from the Z06, ported and polished by ARE. Snowman is hot on his Direct Injection Pro Fogger nitrous set up.
