Simpson harnesses, and a custom 6-point roll cage which can be either swung out of the way or unbolted and removed. "My goal was to build a car to drag race, drive on a long trip, and display at car shows."
That was a tall order. But this was the build of a lifetime. "I worked with Nick Agostino to assemble the motor and testing. It was clear we needed bigger rubber on the back. Along the way I ran across the people at Specter Werkes."
Snowman couldn’t do the entire Specter Werkes’ GT-R body kit because then the car wouldn’t fit on his custom trailer. Instead, he had a unique idea which cost even more time and money: A C5 that looks like the old ZR-1, skinnier in front before swelling out through the doors to accommodate wider tires at the rear.
