Actually, the build didn’t start out to be this radical. Plette bought his C5 used on New Year’s Eve 1999 . After networking on the Corvette Forum, Doug drove his Corvette 1,100 miles in a blizzard from Atlanta to Xtreme Motorsports in Lubbock, Texas.
