pull up beside it, they pull up in front of it. They slow down. They go around
it. Well, they do that with my car on the interstate. They will pull around
me, then slow down so I have to pass them so they can see the car all the
way around."
Bonnie
says she has had drivers hang out their car windows trying to get a closer
look. Others honk and wave and give the thumbs-up sign. She had one older
gentleman stop on the street corner and very formally salute as she passed
by. Bonnie is pretty sure he was a World War II vet - a vet saluting a Vette.
Bonnie
admits the flag is "pretty radical" in design, but she had a
pretty radical reason. The inspiration came from the 9-11-01 attack on the
World Trade Center.
