At
the Corvetteforum.com, Phil Kircher from Jacksonville, Florida goes by the
handle "Joe Cooool."
Roscoe,
a Forum member from Wisconsin, smoked hundreds of pounds of turkey and pork.
Eight bucks bought an orange wrist band and admittance to the serving line.
The joint was jumping, with everyone wearing a name tag. One name is by birthright,
Neill Pritchard, for example, from Nassau, Bahamas. maybe the cyber name is
more important, seeing as the members know one other from their handles on
the internet.
Neill explained, "I had a 97 Grand Prix that was black
and looked like a Batmobile. Its just an internet handle that stuck.
I joined the Forum before I got my Corvette."
Behind me in the serving line were Tom and Martha Gillier of Chatom,
Ontario. His handle is "Bytez U."
