Corvette Challenge Drag Racing
  Last year, we ran a news piece about the Corvette Challenge Drag Racing Series at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey. Headed up by Edgar Perez and a group of other avid Corvette owners/racers, the series has grown tremendously this year, now with a total of 10 events and plenty of cash and prizes for participating Corvette owners. Run bracket-style, the series awards prizes throughout the season and at the end of the season based on total accumulated points, although you do not have to participate in the points chase to race. Sponsored by Cartek Racing, the events are open to all Corvette drivers regardless of car year or driver experience. Four of this year’s events have been completed, but there are still six races remaining on the schedule.
