Someone at the Florida Chapter of the National Corvette Restorers Society had the right idea when they decided to stage the annual Winter Meet car show inside the Hyatt Orlando’s huge convention room. No, not due to potential cold, but because this year the mid-january temperatures were hovering in the low 90s, making for sweaty treks through the swap meet and vendor areas. But inside the convention area, where the NCRS judges swarmed over the collection of NCRS-eligible Corvettes with flashlights and scoring sheets, the air conditioning was a delightful respite from the unseasonable, even for Florida, winter temperatures.

The NCRS Winter Meet, held january 23-26 this year, has become a must-see on the Florida Corvette show
