Someone
at the Florida Chapter of the National Corvette Restorers Society had the
right idea when they decided to stage the annual Winter Meet car show inside
the Hyatt Orlandos huge convention room. No, not due to potential cold,
but because this year the mid-january temperatures were hovering in the low
90s, making for sweaty treks through the swap meet and vendor areas. But inside
the convention area, where the NCRS judges swarmed over the collection of
NCRS-eligible Corvettes with flashlights and scoring sheets, the air conditioning
was a delightful respite from the unseasonable, even for Florida, winter temperatures.
The
NCRS Winter Meet, held january 23-26 this year, has become a must-see on the
Florida Corvette show
