Red ‘63
The
last in a line of six Corvettes for Jim and Miriam Driggers is this mostly
original ’63, a Riverside Red example with a 350 four-speed, stock AM/FM
radio (but with a modern Sony in the glovebox, and Direct Bolt-on Knockoffs
that were a Christmas present. Currently, the Driggers are in the process
of adding a stable-mate to the ’63: "In august, which will be out
30th wedding anniversary, we hope to be on the road from Bowling
Green after picking up our seventh Corvette, a Millennium Yellow C5 coupe
with a six-speed," say the Driggers. "Then we’re heading up
the eastern seaboard before heading back home to Spokane, WA."
