Blue Lightning from Sweden
  Club Corvette Sweden member Thomas Kindberg owns "Blue Lightning," a 1971 coupe with a recently overhauled LS5 engine. "It’s got new parts from the radiator to the gearbox," Thomas says, "including an LS6 cam, solid lifters, forged pistons, and steel rods. Every part except the block, crank, and heads is new." Thomas also reworked the interior and undercarriage during the cold Swedish winter last year. Options include power steering and brakes, tilt-telescopic steering wheel, air conditioning, and luggage rack. "Now she’s a real nice driver," Thomas says. "She pulls strongly from idle to 6,000 rpm."
