team management and GM execs decided to rearrange budgets and schedules in order
to get to the Portland race. Word of the change was immediately sent to Pratt
& Miller, the race and engineering firm that builds and runs the C5-Rs.
With only a few days left, the crew and mechanics shifted into high gear and
worked through the weekend in order to get the cars ready for the cross-country
trip to Portland.
