LEFT: On C5s with the automatic transmission, the passenger side muffler assembly is a bit tricky to remove due to the size of the trans. You can cut the pipe, of course, but Breathless Performance’s Rich Keller likes to keep the assembly intact. Getting it out in one piece can be done, but it takes some maneuvering.

BELOW LEFT: Unlike the one-piece factory assemblies, the Corsa system comes in two pieces. Start the installation by positioning the pipes and loosely connecting them to the front pipes.

   While most C5 owners will likely have their Corsa exhaust installed at a shop, the installation is not beyond those with mechanical skills. A lift certainly helps, especially for extracting the factory exhaust on automatic cars, and you’ll need basic hand tools,
