LEFT: With help from two friends, William Machalek restored his ’58 Corvette convertible to show standards, resulting in over 50 first places, 15 Best of Shows, and the coveted Triple Crown for NCRS Top Flight, Bloomington Gold, and Chevy Vettefest Gold Spinner. The Regal Turquoise Corvette is extra-special because of its drivetrain — a 270-horsepower 283 with quad carbs and a 4-speed transmission.

BELOW LEFT: John and Sally Neas are the current owners of the 1956 Sebring Racer, a Corvette that was built for production class racing at tracks like Sebring and Daytona. The Sebring Racer set records at Daytona and took a class win and other good finishes at Sebring. The car was modified with a number of proposed Regular Production Options, including a 37.5-gallon fuel tank.
