Third LT-1 is the Charm
"They say the third time does the trick, and in this case I agree," says Eric, who owns this 1970 LT-1 Corvette. "My other two were 72s, the ones you cant fake because the engine code is in the VIN. But I know my 70 is a real LT-1 because I bought it from the original owner with all the paperwork." With just 56,000 miles on the odometer, Erics Corvette is still mostly original, including the paint, clutch, spark plug shielding (which is missing on many cars), and exhaust system. "The car takes you right back to 1970 with the first turn of the key as the K66 transistor ignition lights the car right off," Eric says.
