factory Corvette Racing team competed at Road Atlanta on october 6th in
the final 2001 American Le Mans Series race. The 1,000-mile, 10-hour Petite

waved after 1,000 difficult miles, Chevys #4 Corvette, driven by Andy
Pilgrim, Kelly Collins, and Franck Freon, crossed the finish line ahead
of all GTS competitors, thus earning Chevrolet the 2001 manufacturers title
and Pratt & Miller the team championship.
Sadly,
the #3 C5-R failed to finish, thereby depriving Ron Fellows of the GTS drivers
