Here's the old pump next to the new one, as supplied by Eckler’s. The two small holes visible on the new pump are the diaphragm vents, where the gas was leaking from the old pump. Although a gasket comes with a new fuel pump, the connection fitting for the fuel line does not, so you'll have to purchase it separately or recycle the one from your old pump. For $1.50, I opted to spring for a new fitting from a local auto parts store.
