Fleming explained how he gets the chrome so smooth and clear. "We use 40 thousandths sheet brass, then triple plate it to put real show quality chrome on our parts. The brass creates a brilliance you cannot get with any other material."
   
Fleming pays major attention to the engine bay and claims the underside of the hood is the ugliest part of a Corvette. "When you paint the underside of the hood and then you put those mirrors (eight of them) in there, it brings it up to the same level as the rest of the car, quality-wise."
   
Fleming began Red & Reflective with a 40,000-mile daily driver. "We disassembled the entire car, detailed it piece by piece - the undercarriage, engine compartment, and everything — and we had the interior out, glass out, suspension
