Corvettes,
and therein lies Judski’s unique perspective. “A lot more people have experienced
that car than would ever have the opportunity to experience yesterday’s cars.”
Judski’s
claim that “yesterday’s cars” are faster than today’s new performance Corvettes
goes deeper than the ZL1. He has nine Corvettes from his collection (about 15)
on display at his business. Four are representative of the 427-engined Corvettes
of 1966 through 1969 - an ultra-rare big-tank 425-horse ‘66, an L88 red-on-black
‘67 (one of 20 built), a ‘68 L88, and the yellow ‘69 ZL1, a car Judski chased
for 11 years, or ever since Zip Products’ Wayne Walker uncovered the car in
1980.
