they can for the 2003 model. They will probably start, logically, with the Museum, which is Labor Day weekend. The weekend before that happens to be Corvettes at Carlisle. Go back one more week and we’re talking Monterey Historics. So those three shows will fall into place. Mike Yager’s Mid-America show is a couple of weeks after Labor Day, so it also falls into place. In my estimation, the only things out there in limbo are the NCRS and Bloomington Gold, which are two huge factors. And you’ve also got the National Council of Corvette Clubs. I don’t know what their intentions are, maybe they’re going their normal route in mid summer, or maybe they’ll do something special. The NCRS, I understand, may have an event at Monterey preceding the Historics by a week. So all this would flow together. But then you’ve got Bloomington, which is in june, and we’re talking august for the other events.
Ironically, and the date I don’t have committed to memory, the first Corvette was born in late june 1953. That’s going to fall close to Bloomington Gold. I understand at that same time Nolan Adams and his solid axle group has Flint pretty well locked up for its 50th birthday celebration.
