After the paint job, Dennis worked feverishly to get the car back together in time for the 20th Anniversary Celebration in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Mission accomplished. Following the Kentucky trip, Dennis ditched the original steel wheels for aluminums, dropped in an aluminum radiator, and added a Custom Autosound stereo system.
    In early 1991, Dennis decided it was time to update the engine. The old-style ignition system was replaced with a Jacobs unit and a Mallory HEI set-up.
