To
anyone viewing John Wrobleski’s ’64 Corvette as it cruises down the highways
around Andover, New Jersey, the blue coupe appears to be a nice little driver,
with just a set of American Racing wheels to give the stock body more of a
personalized, American Graffiti look. There’s nothing to indicate that John’s
StingRay is anything more than a weekend play-toy for car shows and cruises.

While
C5 owners drool over Lingenfelter’s twin-turbo kits for new C5s, Wrobleski
took the road less traveled by creating a twin-turbo monster out of his ’64.
Originally a 365-horsepower 327 car, John replaced the factory powerplant
with a ’69 four-bolt-main 350, punched out to 355 cubic-inches and equipped
with aluminum heads, then figured out how to adapt a pair of custom-sized
RotoMaster T04 turbochargers. The
