ones to let the world pass them by, Roger Vinci and his team at Vinci Hi-Performance
have developed another superb performance product in the form of a trick Roller-Rocker
package for C5 and ZO6 Corvettes. While the factory roller rockers on the
LS1 and LS6 engines are a good effort by Chevrolet, they are not up to VHP’s
standard of excellence. VHP’s new kit provides not only ten/tenths performance
but also adds adjustability.
"We
went with a kit that replaces most of the valvetrain, not just the rockers,"
Roger explained. "On the stock system, it's simply stamped steel rockers
with a roller tip on the fulcrum end. Plus there's no adjustability for valve
lash, which means you can't change cams. Our new package comes with a 1.8
