Carefully slide the dash out. This is where you will have to move the column down, then rotate the dash for access to the wiring harness retaining clip. Use a small flat-bladed screwdriver to gently lift up on the clip and unplug the connector. Unplug the large connector first, then the small one.

    You’ll need to remove the odometer from the original dash so it can be transferred to the rebuilt unit. Remove the 5.5mm screw that attaches the back cover. Be sure to wear latex gloves while doing this and touch something metal before you remove the backing plate. Static electricity could damage the new dash cluster!
