To remove the tilt lever, unscrew the lever, then lower the column enough to manipulate the dash cluster out of the way. Be sure to remove your keys from the ignition; otherwise, you could crack the dash as you lower the column.

     Next, remove the Phillips screws from the dash bezel. There are four on the front and four on the side. The tricky part is removing the headlight switch knob because you can’t see the lever on the back of the knob, but you will be able to feel it. Depress the lever by pulling it toward you, then the knob will slide off. Be careful not to break this knob because it is no longer available.
