The Stalker body was a great starting point but the dream look Urban had been formulating in his mind would require much more work. A few years ago, Urban began the serious labor to make his ‘89, nicknamed “Polar Bear,” all show. Essentially, Urban was moving from body kit installer to show car designer/builder. His creation worked into a long, low, wide racy convertible with a theme of white paint accented by red and chrome.
    
One look that wasn’t right was the stock Corvette fiberglass boot (for the convertible top). Urban favored the new C5 design and used this lid to fabricate a mold to fit on the C4 deck. Viper Boats in nearby West Palm Beach did the work. Urban specified much taller “bumps” resembling the aerodynamic farings on a vintage Corvette race car.
